ACT is a brand spanking new initiative which has been specifically developed to offer you help and support with your Crohn’s. What’s different about us is that we focus on the stuff that matters to teenagers in the UK who are taking a liquid diet for their Crohn’s disease – and we’ve done a bit of research to make sure what we’re providing to you is helpful.

We know life with Crohn’s can be tough at times. Not only can the physical symptoms be painful and exhausting, but having to speak to doctors, nurses, parents and friends about it can sometimes get you down and be a bit embarrassing. We know we’re not a complete solution to Crohn’s, but we really hope we can help, by providing more information on Crohn’s and taking a liquid diet, along with advice on how to manage your condition and also the relationships with the people around you.
 

Access to all areas is free and we also offer a free magazine – you just need to check with your parents that it’s ok, then fill in your details and we’ll post a copy to you. Don’t worry about being bombarded with junk mail afterwards either. We promise we won’t send you anything else on Crohn’s without your permission and we definitely don’t give your details to anyone else. As we’ve only got one pair of hands, we haven’t quite finished everything that we want to do, so we’re going to add to it over the next few months. If you think anything’s missing, let us know and we’ll try our best to add it to the website.
